FAQs
Current answers about Pineify's tools, supported platforms, access, validation, and trading-risk boundaries.
General
What is Pineify?
Pineify is a trading workflow platform for AI-assisted code generation, visual Pine Script creation, financial research, technical screening, backtest analysis, and trade review. See What is Pineify? for the current product map.
Do I need to know how to code?
No for the visual editor and most research tools. For AI-generated Pine Script, MQL5, or cTrader C#, programming knowledge helps you review assumptions and risk, but the agent can generate, explain, and revise the code from plain language.
Which trading platforms are supported?
- TradingView through Pine Script, the Visual Pine Script Editor, Strategy Optimizer, Backtest Deep Report, premium scripts, and the invite-only indicator
- MetaTrader 5 through the MQL5 AI Coding Agent
- cTrader through the cTrader C# AI Coding Agent
- Standalone market research workflows for stocks, options, crypto, ETFs, and other supported instruments
Access and Pricing
Is there a free plan?
Some Pineify tools provide free or limited access, while other capabilities require a paid plan. Limits differ by tool and can change, so check the current pricing section and the access message inside the product rather than relying on an old plan table.
Do I need a paid TradingView account?
Pineify does not impose a specific TradingView plan. TradingView itself controls chart, historical-data, alert, and platform limits, so the required TradingView tier depends on the workflow you use.
Why does a tool appear in the Manual but not in my account?
The Manual covers the platform catalog. Actual access can depend on authentication, plan, credits, rollout status, market coverage, or the supported browser. The in-app access message is authoritative for your account.
AI and Data
Does syntax validation guarantee correct code?
No. Validation can detect syntax and some platform API errors, but it cannot prove that the trading logic matches your intent, avoids repainting, handles every execution edge case, or will be profitable. Compile and backtest in the target platform.
Does Pineify provide financial advice or guaranteed signals?
No. AI answers, stock scores, options flow, screeners, chart levels, and backtest statistics are research inputs. They do not predict returns or guarantee profitable trades.
How current is market data?
Freshness differs by dataset, market session, exchange, provider, and tool. Check timestamps and source coverage in the result before making a decision. “Real-time” on a product page does not mean every field updates tick by tick.
Can MCP place trades?
No. Pineify MCP tools are read-only and cannot place orders, modify positions, or execute trades. See MCP for Agent for setup and token-safety guidance.
Product Status
Are Trading Agent and AI Daily Portfolio Report available?
Not yet. The current website marks both products as coming soon, so the Manual does not provide a usable workflow for them.
Where should I check for the newest changes?
Use Release Notes for dated product changes and the All Tools catalog for current availability and documentation.
