Get an AI stock rating for one US stock ticker

The get-ai-stock-rating MCP tool retrieves the latest available AI Stock Picker snapshot for one exact US stock ticker. It returns the ticker rank, overall and factor scores, snapshot date, methodology, warnings, and a fixed set of supporting metrics when available. The result is information, not a price prediction or investment advice.

Example prompt

Use Pineify to get the latest available AI stock rating for AAPL. Show the snapshot date, overall rank, and full score breakdown.

Direct answer

What get-ai-stock-rating does

This read-only MCP tool looks up one company in the USA Stocks dataset. Send a bare ticker such as AAPL, not an exchange-prefixed value such as NASDAQ:AAPL.

Each response identifies the snapshot and whether it is the latest available snapshot. A found result includes the overall rank plus overall, fundamental, technical, sentiment, and low-risk scores on a 1 to 10 scale where higher is better. It also reports score change when the source provides it.

The methodology uses a three-month horizon and marks every result as informational only. The tool does not predict a future price, select a trade, or account for an investor's goals and risk limits.

Contract

What the agent sends and receives

Inputs

  • `symbol`: one exact US stock ticker. The tool trims whitespace, converts the ticker to uppercase, and rejects exchange prefixes.
  • `detail`: `compact` or `standard`. It defaults to `standard`; use it when you need the supported metrics as well as the rating.

Structured output

  • Snapshot metadata: snapshot ID, `asOfDate`, retrieval timestamp, and `isLatestAvailable`.
  • Instrument details: symbol, company name, US market, stock asset type, headquarters country, sector, and industry when present.
  • Rating details: positive overall rank, overall score, score change, and fundamental, technical, sentiment, and low-risk scores. The bounded scores use a 1 to 10 scale and may be null.
  • Supported metrics: USD price, dividend yield, P/E, price-to-free-cash-flow, beta, performance and alpha for one week through one year, plus one-week and one-month volatility. Individual fields or the full metrics object may be null.
  • Methodology and warnings: dataset name, schema version, three-month horizon, informational-only flag, and bounded data warnings.

Capabilities

Where this MCP tool fits

Retrieve one exact ticker rating

Look up one supported US stock by its bare ticker and receive either a found result or a dated not-found result.

Read the score breakdown

Inspect overall rank, overall score, score change, and the fundamental, technical, sentiment, and low-risk factor scores. Factor scores may be null when the source has no value.

Check the snapshot context

Read the snapshot date, retrieval time, latest-available flag, three-month horizon, methodology version, and response warnings before interpreting a score.

Request supported market metrics

With standard detail, inspect available price, dividend yield, P/E, price-to-free-cash-flow, beta, performance, alpha, and short-period volatility fields.

Agent workflow

A bounded call from question to review

  1. 1

    Send one bare ticker

Choose one exact US stock symbol, such as AAPL, and omit exchange prefixes. Use separate calls when researching more than one company.

  2. 2

    Choose the detail level

Use `compact` for the rating context or `standard` when the fixed supporting-metrics set is needed. Standard is the default.

  3. 3

    Interpret the dated result

Check `asOfDate`, `isLatestAvailable`, warnings, null fields, and the three-month methodology horizon before using the score in further research.

Questions an agent can route to this tool

"Use Pineify to get the latest available AI stock rating for AAPL. Show the snapshot date, overall rank, and full score breakdown."
"Retrieve the standard AI stock rating result for NVDA. List only the supported metrics that are present and keep null fields explicit."
"Get the compact AI stock rating for TSLA. Explain the methodology horizon and warnings without treating the score as a price forecast."

Operator notes

How I review the result

When I check NVDA, I read `asOfDate` and `isLatestAvailable` before the rank because the latest available snapshot may not match today's date.

I request standard detail for AAPL when I need P/E, beta, performance, alpha, or volatility alongside the score. I leave missing fields as null instead of estimating them.

For TSLA, I treat the factor scores and three-month horizon as research context. I do not turn the result into a price target, trade instruction, or personalized advice.

Boundaries to keep in the prompt

  • The tool covers one exact ticker per call in the USA Stocks dataset. It does not discover a stock universe or compare several tickers in one request.
  • The response is the latest available snapshot, not a live quote or historical time series. Callers must inspect the snapshot date and latest-available flag.
  • Only the documented metrics are returned. Options flow, technical-indicator snapshots, earnings events, analyst targets, and unsupported raw source fields are outside this contract.
  • Scores and metrics can be null, and a valid response can report that no rating exists for the ticker. The tool must not fill missing values with estimates.
  • This is an information tool, not investment advice. It cannot predict stock prices, promise returns, choose a position size, or execute a trade.

Pineify MCP is an information and code-validation tool, not investment advice. It does not promise returns, place trades, or modify a portfolio. Review timestamps, source fields, code diagnostics, and risk assumptions before acting.
