AI stock picker MCP server for ranked US stock candidates

The Pineify AI stock picker MCP server returns a bounded ranking of US stock candidates for one supported screening strategy. Results come from the latest available snapshot and are informational, not personalized advice, live quotes, price predictions, or trade instructions.

Example prompt

Use Pineify to return 5 low-risk US stock candidates with standard detail, then tell me whether AAPL appears in this snapshot.

Direct answer

What find-ai-stock-picks does

Start with one fixed strategy: overall, popular, low-risk, dividend, high-dividend, growth, penny, value, most-shorted, small-cap, or large-cap. The request can return 1 to 25 candidates, with 10 as the default.

Compact detail returns rank and score fields. Standard detail also includes available price, valuation, dividend, beta, performance, alpha, and volatility metrics. Scores use a 1 to 10 scale, but a higher score is not a return promise.

Every response identifies its snapshot and as-of date. When more rows are available, pass nextCursor unchanged to continue the same snapshot instead of mixing candidates from separate data cuts.

Contract

What the agent sends and receives

Inputs

  • For an initial query, one strategy from overall, popular, low-risk, dividend, high-dividend, growth, penny, value, most-shorted, small-cap, or large-cap.
  • An optional integer limit from 1 to 25. The default is 10.
  • Optional detail set to compact or standard. The default is compact.
  • For a continuation, the returned cursor unchanged. Send the cursor without a strategy or revised page settings.

Structured output

  • The resolved strategy, limit, and detail level used for the snapshot query.
  • Snapshot ID, as-of date, retrieval time, latest-available status, and the fixed three-month methodology.
  • Up to 25 ranked US stock items with instrument fields and overall, fundamental, technical, sentiment, and low-risk scores when available.
  • Standard results can include price, dividend yield, P/E, price-to-free-cash-flow, beta, performance, alpha, and volatility fields.
  • Page totals, hasMore, nextCursor, a partial flag, and bounded warnings for skipped or missing records.

Capabilities

Where this MCP tool fits

Fixed-strategy US stock screening

Bounded ranked candidates

Returns at most 25 candidates per page with instrument details, rank, and nullable score fields.

Snapshot-safe pagination

Provides an opaque continuation cursor that keeps later pages tied to the original snapshot.

Agent workflow

A bounded call from question to review

  1. 1

    Choose one screening profile

Send a supported strategy with a limit from 1 to 25 and choose compact or standard detail.

  2. 2

    Check the data boundary

Read the snapshot date, methodology, partial flag, and warnings before interpreting any rank or score.

  3. 3

    Continue the same snapshot

If hasMore is true, send nextCursor unchanged on its own. Start a new strategy query if the cursor is invalid, expired, or its snapshot is unavailable.

Prompt examples

Questions an agent can route to this tool

"Use Pineify to return 5 low-risk US stock candidates with standard detail, then tell me whether AAPL appears in this snapshot."
"Run the growth screen with limit 10 and compact detail. If NVDA or AMD appears, compare only the returned score fields."
"Find up to 25 large-cap candidates, record the snapshot date, and use the returned cursor unchanged for one more page."

Operator notes

How I review the result

When I run strategy=low-risk, limit=10, detail=standard, I check whether AAPL appears in the returned page. I do not pass AAPL as a hidden ticker filter because the tool has no symbol input.

I use strategy=growth, limit=25, detail=standard before comparing any returned NVDA or AMD row. I record snapshot.asOfDate and never describe priceUsd as a live quote.

If I need more large-cap candidates after the first 25, I pass nextCursor unchanged and no strategy. I confirm the snapshot ID remains pinned before noting whether MSFT appears.

Boundaries to keep in the prompt

  • The rankings are informational and are not personalized investment advice, a buy or sell recommendation, or a promise of future returns. AI cannot predict stock prices with certainty.
  • The tool reads the latest available snapshot. It does not provide real-time quotes, intraday technical indicators, historical time series, or news.
  • It screens a fixed US stock dataset by supported strategy. It does not accept a ticker, sector, exchange, ETF, or custom financial filter.
  • It is read-only. It does not place trades, connect to a broker, size positions, or modify a portfolio.
  • A response can be empty or partial. Check warnings, nullable fields, the as-of date, and snapshot status before using it in further research.

Pineify MCP is an information and code-validation tool, not investment advice. It does not promise returns, place trades, or modify a portfolio. Review timestamps, source fields, code diagnostics, and risk assumptions before acting.
