Is Pineify Trading Journal free?
No. The Trading Journal is part of our Advanced plan at $149/year, and there is no free tier for the journal module. Every plan comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee, so you can try it without risk. Free Google Sheets templates work too, but you lose automatic PnL calculations, Win Rate tracking, and performance reports.
Where is my data stored?
Your trading data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and stored in the cloud. Only you can access your records, and we never sell or share your trading data with third parties. You can delete your account and all associated data whenever you want.
Can I track multiple accounts?
Yes. The Multi-Journal Architecture lets you create separate journals for different accounts (Binance, Alpaca, TD Ameritrade, etc.) or strategies. Each journal keeps its data fully isolated, so trades from one account never mix with another.
Does it support partial exits?
Yes. You can add multiple close records for a single trade, and the system works out the remaining position size, weighted average exit price, and realized PnL for you. No manual math required. I use this all the time when scaling out of SPY positions across multiple limit orders.
What metrics does the analytics dashboard show?
The dashboard calculates Win Rate, Profit Factor, Sharpe Ratio, Sortino Ratio, Max Drawdown, Net PnL, and R-Multiple distribution. Each metric updates in real time as you log trades. You can filter by date range, symbol, strategy, or session to isolate specific performance periods.
Can I import trades from my broker automatically?
Not yet. For now, Pineify uses manual trade entry or CSV import. Broker API auto-sync is on the roadmap but not available today. Most competitors charge extra for auto-import (Tradersync adds $20/month). When we ship this, it will be included in your existing plan at no extra cost.
