Tables with up to five fields per group; trade numbers connect the groups

||
Trade entries (optional)27 fields

Enter text to print, or leave empty for a blank template. No autosave: download before leaving or refreshing. Deselecting sections hides their fields without deleting entries; hidden fields are not exported. Asset class changes only the header label. English and Latin-1 text are supported; CJK and emoji must be replaced before export.

A blank printable template will be generated.

Make a printable record you can verify

  1. Select the sections you need. Trade Log holds the core entries; Execution Details adds fees and net results; Notes & Review holds your source context and later observations.
  2. Choose Minimal for grouped tables or Detailed for labeled fields. Wide logs are split into readable groups rather than compressed into one page. Trade numbers connect the groups.
  3. Enter the text to print, or leave the record empty for a blank form. Asset class is a header label only. All quantities, currencies and financial results must be entered and verified manually.
  4. Choose A4 or Letter and download. Both use landscape pages with a Pineify footer. Check the downloaded file and your printer’s scale before printing.

The PDF is a snapshot. It has no formulas, editable PDF form fields, broker connection or restoration/import feature. Keep the original execution records and any editable working copy separately.

Give financial fields a clear definition

The labels do not validate the numbers. When you enter P&L, state whether it includes charges and which currency it uses. For percentage results, state the denominator. For R, record the initial risk definition. A blank value means unrecorded, not zero.

Use a note for contract units, multipliers, conversion rates and source timestamps when relevant. Asset labels do not adapt the fields or calculate those conversions. A final closed result does not reveal the worst interim drawdown, and a trade log alone does not prove a statistical edge.

The worked journal examples show explicit unit and cost assumptions. The first-record guide explains how to separate the original plan from a later review.

Save a copy before leaving

Entered values stay in page memory. Reloading or leaving loses them; downloading a PDF does not create an editable backup that this tool can reload. Changing templates, page size or sections preserves current entries. Default sections restores the initial section selection only.

The generator creates the document in your browser without sending entered values to a PDF service. Ordinary website analytics may still run. The download includes the optional name and selected fields, so review its contents before sharing.

English and Latin-1 text are supported by the built-in font. Unsupported characters trigger an error with the entries retained. Long supported text wraps and continues across pages; no selected field is intentionally shortened.

Questions about PDF exports

Is the PDF generator free and does it require an account?

The generator on this page is free to use without an account. It exports a static PDF with a Pineify footer. It does not include account-based Journal features.

Does it calculate P&L, R, drawdown or win rate?

No. Every field is text that you enter or leave blank. The asset selector changes only the header label; it does not apply contract multipliers, currency conversion or financial formulas. Verify figures against your original records.

How do the two PDF layouts work?

Minimal groups up to five selected fields per table and repeats the Trade # so you can match groups. Detailed prints labeled fields per trade. Both wrap long text and continue onto additional pages. A4 and Letter exports are landscape.

What happens when I download without adding trades?

Minimal produces 20 numbered blank rows per field group. Detailed produces one blank trade with the selected sections. These are printable documents, not interactive PDF forms.

Are entries saved, uploaded or imported?

Entries remain in this page’s memory until you leave or refresh; there is no autosave or import. The PDF generator runs in the browser and does not send the entered values to a PDF service. The website may make ordinary analytics requests; this is not a claim that the whole site sends no network traffic.

Which characters can the PDF print?

The built-in font supports English and Latin-1 characters. Common curly quotes and dashes are converted to plain punctuation. Unsupported characters such as CJK or emoji produce a visible error; entries remain available to edit rather than being silently corrupted.

Will changing sections delete my entries?

No. Deselecting a section hides its fields and excludes them from the next PDF. Selecting it again restores those values. Default sections changes only the section selection. Removing an individual trade deletes that entry from the page.

Can I infer a trading edge from this PDF?

No. It is a record template, not an analytics engine or evidence of a repeatable strategy. Preserve source executions, costs, units, currencies and timestamps; keep unknown values visible and review the assumptions behind any calculated figure.

Need a different record format?

Use the spreadsheet tool for its documented USD-per-unit calculations and file exports, or review Pineify’s account-based Journal features. Neither link imports this PDF into an editable journal.
