What Price Volume Trend measures

Price Volume Trend cumulatively adds volume multiplied by each bar's fractional price change (1% is 0.01).

Calculation

Pineify receives the reported indicator fields from its TradingView Alert pipeline. The calculation follows this method:

PVT increment = volume x (close - prior close) / prior close; state compares cumulative PVT with EMA 21 and its prior value.

The page leaves missing readings unavailable. It does not fill a gap with an estimate or a browser-side calculation.

How to use this scan

Use this screen to review a watchlist before deciding whether to investigate a chart. Use it to screen whether price change and reported volume are reinforcing the same cumulative direction.
