Use the schedule as a reference for a specific date
The table displays the fields supplied by FMP's All Exchange Market Hours endpoint. Search filters the returned rows by code, name or timezone. Previous and Next paginate those matching rows, while Export filtered CSV saves all of them. Refresh requests a new snapshot but can receive the same five-minute cached response.
Regular sessions are not the whole trading day
NYSE's official calendar lists the core equities session as 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern Time and separately describes auctions, early/late sessions and holiday exceptions. On November 27, 2026, the listed early close for equities is 1 p.m. ET. A static 4 p.m. closing field cannot replace that date-specific calendar.
The London Stock Exchange FAQ gives 08:00 to 16:30 trading hours. Use London local time, not a blanket year-round GMT conversion. The UK uses GMT in winter and BST, one hour ahead, during summer; check the official UK clock-change dates. This page preserves provider strings and does not correct their offsets.
Check four details before converting a time
- Identify the exact exchange, product and session. Equities, options and other segments can have different calendars.
- Check the date for holidays, early closes, lunch breaks and auctions on the exchange's official site.
- Use a timezone-aware conversion for that date. Markets can change daylight saving time on different weekends, changing the overlap between sessions.
- Confirm your broker's order types and access hours. An Open badge is not evidence of an executable price, uninterrupted trading or a fill.
What this tool cannot confirm
The open/closed field comes from the provider; missing status is Unknown. A closed status does not explain whether the reason is a weekend, holiday or session break. The page does not recalculate status from the browser clock, monitor trading halts, load every exchange calendar, or send opening alerts. If a field is absent or disagrees with an exchange notice, use the official schedule for the instrument and date.
