What this ESG screen checks
Choose a sector and market-cap range, then submit a search. The tool asks FMP for up to 30 company candidates and retains US companies listed on NASDAQ, NYSE or AMEX. It then requests each candidate's ESG disclosure data and applies your score thresholds. The initial candidate limit comes before ESG filtering: this is not a ranking of every company in the market.
Numeric E, S, G and overall scores come from the latest dated disclosure returned for each symbol. The selected disclosure date and acceptance date appear in the table. Missing or nonnumeric scores remain unavailable; a missing score cannot satisfy a minimum threshold, even a threshold of zero. Clearing a threshold leaves missing values in the results for inspection.
Read the coverage count before the score
Suppose a hypothetical request returns 30 candidates. Ten have no overall score and six of the other 20 meet your minimum of 70. The result is six matches among the candidates with available data. It does not establish that only six companies in the market meet the rule, or that the ten unscored candidates have poor ESG practices. A failed request is also counted separately so that an outage is not mistaken for a low score.
Preset buttons fill example thresholds; select Find ESG Stocks to apply them. These numbers are user-editable cutoffs, not provider grades or certifications. Sorting changes the order of the returned results, not the candidate universe. Reset clears the results and restores the defaults.
Scores, dates and financial data have different meanings
Environmental, social and governance factors can cover different issues depending on the data provider. There is no universal SEC ESG score, and different private methods can produce different assessments. A composite score should not substitute for reading the underlying disclosures or checking the issues that matter to your research.
This page uses numerical disclosure scores, not the separate FMP letter rating endpoint. It does not assign A-to-D grades, certify an ethical investment or infer an expected return. Compare like periods and methods; one company's newer disclosure and another's older disclosure are not a synchronized measurement.
Pineify may cache disclosure responses for 24 hours and company-screening responses for two minutes. Those durations are cache settings, not promises about how recently the provider collected the data. Prices and market caps are candidate-snapshot values in provider units. No currency conversion, streaming quote feed or automatic refresh runs on this page.
Use a shortlist as a research starting point
Review the company's current filings, financial condition and business activities before drawing conclusions. ESG filtering alone does not measure portfolio diversification, valuation, execution costs or your personal investment needs. This tool makes no claim that higher scores outperform.

FMP ESG endpoint documentation describes the separate disclosures and ratings datasets. Investor.gov's ESG funds bulletin explains differences in ESG definitions and scoring methods. The candidate cap, filtering order and missing-data rules above describe this tool's implementation.
