Signal evaluation guide

AI trading signals should expose enough logic to review

AI trading signals are prompts to review a market setup, not instructions that guarantee an outcome. A useful signal states the market, timeframe, trigger, invalidation, and risk assumptions. Pineify offers invite-only TradingView signals and source-available premium scripts as two current paths.

Signal
A market condition and trigger that the trader can evaluate.
Script
Source code that exposes how an indicator calculates its output.
Boundary
A signal does not establish future performance or remove trading risk.

Start with the output, not the AI label

AI trading products do different jobs. Decide whether you need research, screening, chart review, code generation, parameter testing, signals, or journaling. Then judge the output you can inspect and the limits the product states.

Read the trigger before reading the label

The words buy, sell, bullish, or bearish are incomplete without timeframe, invalidation, and context. A stock signal AI trading alert should give enough information to decide whether it matches your plan.

Separate historical examples from live evidence

Backtests, chart examples, paper results, and live results answer different questions. Do not combine them into one accuracy number. Check costs, sample size, and the period used for any performance statement.

Choose between access and source visibility

Invite-only indicators provide TradingView access to signals and overlays. Premium Scripts provide indicators with source code and tutorials. The second path is easier to inspect and modify, while the first is an access product.

Use AI as a reviewable tool

This material is for information and product education. It is not investment advice. Trading can result in losses, and historical tests do not predict future results. Review generated code, assumptions, and data before using them in a trading workflow.
