Search three disclosure scopes
Find recent congressional trades, late reports, or disclosures for one politician with a strict scope-specific request.
The Pineify congress trades MCP server lets an MCP-compatible agent search public US congressional trade disclosures by recent activity, late reports, or politician. It returns transaction dates, filing dates, reported amount ranges, and derived disclosure delays. These records are delayed disclosures, not real-time holdings or exact trade values.
find-congress-tradesExample prompt
Use Pineify to find recent disclosed NVDA congressional trades. Show the transaction date, filing date, amount range, and disclosure delay for each returned record.
Direct answer
The find-congress-trades tool searches a bounded public-disclosure dataset. An agent can request recent filings, late reports, or records for one named politician, then filter by ticker, party, chamber, transaction type, and an optional market date.
Transaction date and filing date answer different questions. The transaction date is the date reported for the trade. The filing date is when the disclosure was filed. Disclosure delay is a derived count of calendar days between those dates, and the tool marks a report late when the derived delay exceeds 45 days.
The reported amount is a range copied from the disclosure record, not an exact execution value. A filing also does not establish the current position, trade price, motive, beneficial owner beyond what the record states, or whether the holding remains open.

Capabilities
Find recent congressional trades, late reports, or disclosures for one politician with a strict scope-specific request.
Filter by ticker, party, chamber, transaction type, and optional date, then sort by transaction date or filing date.
Read both dates beside a derived disclosure-delay value and late-report flag instead of treating the filing date as the trade date.
Review reported amount ranges, nullable source fields, derived affiliation metadata, methodology versions, partial status, and warnings.
Agent workflow
Use recent for current results in the dataset, late-reports for delayed filings, or politician with one full name for a person-specific review.
Add a ticker, date, affiliation, chamber, or transaction type when it narrows the question, then select a date sort and a limit of 50 or fewer.
Quote transaction date, filing date, amount range, and derived delay as separate fields. Keep partial status, warnings, and missing values visible.
Prompt examples
"Use Pineify to find recent disclosed NVDA congressional trades. Show the transaction date, filing date, amount range, and disclosure delay for each returned record."
"Find up to 20 late congressional stock reports, sort by filing date descending, and do not convert reported amount ranges into exact dollar values."
"Use the congressional stock trades MCP tool to review public disclosures for this politician. Separate buys, sells, and exchanges, and state when a date or affiliation field is missing."
Operator notes
When I check NVDA disclosures, I filter by symbol and quote only the records returned by the tool. I never fill an empty result with a trade from memory.
When I compare AAPL filings, I keep transaction date and filing date in separate columns, then use the derived day count to discuss reporting delay.
When I review MSFT amount ranges, I preserve the range text as reported. I do not use its midpoint as an exact trade value or claim that the disclosed position is still open.
Pineify MCP is an information and code-validation tool, not investment advice. It does not promise returns, place trades, or modify a portfolio. Review timestamps, source fields, code diagnostics, and risk assumptions before acting.
