Pineify shows the latest daily values reported through its TradingView Alert pipeline. This page does not recalculate the indicator in the browser. It is an information tool, not investment advice.

What Stochastic measures

Stochastic compares the close with the recent high low range. This scan uses the smoothed 14, 3, 3 form with percent K and percent D.

Calculation

Pineify receives the reported indicator fields from its TradingView Alert pipeline. The calculation follows this method:

Raw K = 100 x (close - lowest low over 14 periods) / (highest high - lowest low). K and D then use 3 period smoothing.

The page leaves missing readings unavailable. It does not fill a gap with an estimate or a browser-side calculation.

How to use this scan

At Pineify, we use this screen as a watchlist check, not as a trade instruction. Use it to compare momentum zones and K versus D direction after filtering for market trend.

  1. 1We start in All, then search a liquid reference such as AAPL, SPY, or BTCUSDT.
  2. 2We compare the Stochastic reading with other Symbols in the same market collection.
  3. 3We open the chart to confirm price structure and volume before making a decision.

Reading the Stochastic signals

Read the value in context. A single daily result can narrow the list, but it cannot replace a chart review.

1

Values below 20 sit in the conventional oversold zone.

2

Values above 80 sit in the conventional overbought zone.

3

The relation between K and D supplies direction within those zones.

Where the signal can fail

Stochastic can remain near an extreme in a strong trend and may cross often in noisy ranges.

Stochastic cannot predict future prices. Confirm the setup and define your risk before acting.

Stochastic Oscillator Screener FAQ

What does the Stochastic Oscillator Screener show?+

Stochastic compares the close with the recent high low range. This scan uses the smoothed 14, 3, 3 form with percent K and percent D. This page checks that indicator across Pineify's default stocks, crypto pairs, and ETF collections so you can narrow a watchlist without opening each chart first.

How should I read the Stochastic result?+

Values below 20 sit in the conventional oversold zone. Treat the daily reading as a starting point, then compare it with price structure, volume, and your own risk rules.

Can Stochastic predict the next price move?+

No. Stochastic is calculated from reported market data and cannot predict the next move or guarantee a profitable trade. It can help you sort a watchlist for further research.

What timeframe does the Stochastic Oscillator Screener use?+

This public page shows daily data only. Each visible Stochastic reading comes from the latest daily snapshot returned by Pineify's TradingView Alert pipeline.

Why are the shorter timeframes locked?+

The public page requests the daily timeframe only. Sign in and open Pineify Screener to view 4-hour, 2-hour, 1-hour, 30-minute, 15-minute, 5-minute, and 1-minute readings.

How often is the Stochastic data refreshed?+

The public API caches a successful response for up to one hour. The table shows when its current cached response was created, although the underlying daily bar may be older when a market is closed.
