Pineify shows the latest daily values reported through its TradingView Alert pipeline. This page does not recalculate the indicator in the browser. It is an information tool, not investment advice.

What Relative Vigor 10 measures

Relative Vigor Index compares smoothed close minus open movement with smoothed high minus low range over 10 periods.

Calculation

Pineify receives the reported indicator fields from its TradingView Alert pipeline. The calculation follows this method:

RVI uses 1, 2, 2, 1 weighted close-open and high-low values, then applies a 10 period average. Its signal uses the same 1, 2, 2, 1 weighting over four RVI values.

The page leaves missing readings unavailable. It does not fill a gap with an estimate or a browser-side calculation.

How to use this scan

At Pineify, we use this screen as a watchlist check, not as a trade instruction. Use RVI to compare whether candle closes show persistent positive or negative vigor across a watchlist.

  1. 1We start in All, then search a liquid reference such as AAPL, SPY, or BTCUSDT.
  2. 2We compare the Relative Vigor 10 reading with other Symbols in the same market collection.
  3. 3We open the chart to confirm price structure and volume before making a decision.

Reading the Relative Vigor 10 signals

Read the value in context. A single daily result can narrow the list, but it cannot replace a chart review.

1

RVI above its signal and above zero reports bullish.

2

RVI below its signal and below zero reports bearish.

3

Mixed signal and zero line conditions report neutral.

Where the signal can fail

RVI can lag or cross repeatedly in ranges. It should be checked with price structure and trend context.

Relative Vigor 10 cannot predict future prices. Confirm the setup and define your risk before acting.
