What Are Today's Top Stock Gainers?
A gainers list compares percentage price changes reported by a data provider. This table sorts valid positive changes in the returned list and displays up to 50 unique symbols. It does not reconstruct returns from historical prices or verify a complete exchange universe.
Use the list to select companies for further research. A large move alone does not establish its cause, fair value, liquidity, or likely next direction. Verify the quote date, bid–ask spread, and company announcements separately.
How to Use This Top Gainers List
- 1
Compare Price Changes
Sort percentage change, price, or reported volume. Volume shows activity; it does not confirm a profitable entry or continuing demand.
- 2
Check the News
A symbol opens the quote lookup; enter that ticker there. Check company filings and announcements separately before attributing the move to earnings, regulatory news, or a merger.
- 3
Analyze the Chart
Use the stock quote lookup to inspect the available quote fields. For a price chart, verify the symbol, timeframe, and adjustment settings in your charting platform.
Why Use Pineify's Top Gainers Tracker?
Periodic Requests
The browser requests data every minute. A 15-minute server cache and provider delays mean this is not a tick-by-tick feed.
Separate Quote Fields
Volume and market cap enrich the list when available. Failed enrichment does not remove the price-change rows.
Completely Free
This public table does not require a paid plan. Other Pineify products have their own access requirements.
Frequently Asked Questions
When is this list updated?
The browser requests data every 60 seconds while the page is open, including outside market hours. The gainers endpoint has a 15-minute server cache, and upstream data may be delayed. Loaded time records receipt in your browser, not the time of the market quote.
Which stocks are included?
The table shows up to 50 unique positive-gain symbols from the provider response, sorted by percentage change. Coverage depends on Financial Modeling Prep; this is not a scan of every listed stock or a guarantee of current-session data. Low-priced stocks may appear, but no penny-stock eligibility filter is applied.
What does volume tell me?
Reported volume measures trading activity. It does not identify buyer conviction or establish that a price increase will continue. Volume and market cap are requested separately from the gainers list, so the fields need not describe the same instant. Missing fields are shown as unavailable.
