Provider scores are a research input
This tool displays an FMP rating snapshot for a ticker. The response contains a letter grade, an overall score and component scores named for DCF, ROE, ROA, debt-to-equity, P/E and P/B. It does not contain analyst vote counts, target prices or a recommendation field. Pineify does not convert the scores into a trading instruction.
Check the financial quantities behind a score
- DCF concerns estimated discounted future cash flows; assumptions about growth and discount rates can change a valuation.
- ROE and ROA relate profit to equity and assets. Negative equity, accounting adjustments and industry differences need attention.
- Debt-to-equity describes financing structure. A provider score is not a measurement of default probability.
- P/E and P/B relate market value to earnings and book equity. Negative denominators or unusual earnings can make simple comparisons misleading.
The numbers shown here are scores, not those raw ratios. Do not read a score of 5 as a 5% return or assume that a high score guarantees an undervalued stock.
Methodology and timing limits
The FMP endpoint documentation describes the available dimensions. Its methodology page describes score boundaries and composite grades. This page does not reproduce a legacy grade table, claim industry-relative calibration or infer absent recommendation fields.
The API cache can retain a response for one hour. The snapshot does not supply its observation date. Verify current statements and the provider’s methodology before comparing companies, and do not treat the request time as the underlying financial-data date.
Use the tool
- Enter a supported ticker and search.
- Check the returned symbol and inspect each available field. Missing values remain unknown.
- Export the displayed fields to CSV if needed.
- Compare actual financial statements and ratios separately. A rating is neither a guarantee nor personal investment advice.
