What Are Commodity Quotes?
This page lists the symbols returned by the FMP batch commodity quotes endpoint. Each row contains price, absolute change, and volume. It is a compact comparison view; use the single-symbol detail lookup when you need available ranges, averages, or a provider timestamp.
How to Use This Commodity Quotes Tool
- 1
View Returned Commodities
The page requests the batch snapshot on load. It displays only returned symbols, with 20 rows per page. Absence from this list does not establish that a commodity or contract does not exist.
- 2
Search & Filter
Filter the loaded rows by part of a symbol, such as GCUSD. Filtering is local and changes the visible result count; it does not make a new provider request or search exchange listings beyond the loaded data.
- 3
Refresh & Export
Refresh requests the batch again. Export CSV includes every row matching your current filter across all pages. Clear the search to export the full returned set. Keep a separate retrieval record because this compact response does not include quote timestamps.
Why Use Our Commodity Quotes Tool?
Batch Overview
Browse the returned batch without repeatedly entering individual symbols. Coverage is provider-dependent; the list is not a comprehensive exchange contract directory.
Cached Snapshot
The server caches batch responses for about one minute. There is no streaming update, and provider delay may be longer. A successful refresh is not evidence that every underlying price has changed or is current.
100% Free
The table, local filter, and CSV export are free without registration. Other Pineify features may require separate access.
Compare Units Before Comparing Categories
Energy Commodities
Energy series can use different benchmarks and quotation units. A raw price for crude oil cannot be compared directly with natural gas as if each represented the same quantity or exposure.
Precious Metals
Precious-metal series may refer to different contract sizes or pricing conventions. The table does not rank them as safe assets or select an investment.
Industrial Metals
Industrial-metal symbols are useful starting points for research, but this table does not include contract size, expiry, or currency conversion. Verify those details before comparing price levels.
Agricultural Products
Agricultural series can have different units and delivery conventions. Volume is the provider-reported quantity, not a standardized cross-market liquidity score.
