- Which stocks were excluded by unavailable data or by the criterion itself, rather than by a weak company score?
- Does a technical event describe a past occurrence, or does your rule require a condition to hold on the current bar?
- Are you using Fidelity.com research, Trader+ or ATP Classic, and are the same fields available in that interface?

Research Workflow
Keep the Screening Rule with the Candidate List
Step 1: Record the Research Criteria
Write down the security universe, period and definitions for the fields you select. Use a saved screen to rerun the same criteria, and retain the date of any downloaded results. A later rerun can contain different stocks without the rules having changed.
Step 2: Inspect Technical Conditions Separately
Add supported symbols to a Pineify collection and choose the interval and indicator settings. Compare a displayed reading with the same listing and session on a chart. An unfinished bar can change, and a refresh is not confirmation that a trade is appropriate or that a price is available.
A Missing Result Is Not Necessarily a Low Score
Consider an illustrative P/E filter below 20. Company A has a $30 price and $2 of EPS on the same basis, giving a P/E of 15. Company B has a $30 price and negative $1 EPS. Fidelity explains that selecting its P/E criterion limits the universe to positive-EPS stocks. B is therefore not a cheaper candidate with a negative multiple; it falls outside that eligible universe. Check the exact EPS period in the criterion definition.
Similarly, a missing Equity Summary Score is not zero. Fidelity's methodology requires at least four independent providers and updates after each trading day. The model combines sentiment on a 0.1 to 10 scale; a hypothetical 9.0 is not a 90% chance of profit. Research coverage and a trading outcome are different quantities.
Check Which Fidelity Platform You Are Using
Fidelity now offers Trader+ Web, Desktop and Mobile, while Active Trader Pro Classic remains a legacy platform. Its transition page says ATP sunsetting begins in 2027. Do not apply instructions for the old desktop application to every current screen. The website screener guide also describes technical-event occurrence windows, which are not interchangeable with a chart's candle interval.

Does Fidelity have a stock screener?
Yes. Fidelity.com documents stock screening by fundamentals, analyst opinions and technical events, with saved screens and result downloads. Its website screener, Trader+ tools and legacy Active Trader Pro are different interfaces; do not assume that every filter is shared across them.
Can I use Fidelity screening without an account?
Public research and some screening criteria are available before login. Saved research, account information and trading may require authentication. Check the access shown by the tool you open; this review did not test a funded brokerage account.
Why can a stock be missing from my results?
A criterion can change the eligible universe. Fidelity explains that selecting P/E restricts the search to securities with positive EPS. The Add My Stocks feature helps inspect a particular stock against chosen criteria. Missing data and a failed threshold are different reasons for exclusion.
Is an Equity Summary Score a buy signal?
No. LSEG StarMine combines independent research sentiment using normalization and historical accuracy weights. It is neither a Fidelity recommendation nor a probability of profit. Review coverage, valuation and risks separately.
How does Pineify fit into this workflow?
Add supported candidates to a separate technical collection. Full Market Screener access requires a Pineify account and Expert or higher. The table does not import Fidelity filter logic, export a Pine strategy or route an order to Fidelity. Pineify is independent of Fidelity.
