Pineify vs Edgewonk: Trade Records, Psychology and Review
Edgewonk offers a cloud trading journal with broker imports, psychology tools and automated Edge Finder analysis. Pineify combines recorded trades, closing events, diary entries and performance reports with a broader research and coding suite. The deciding question is which product preserves the records and review process you actually use.

Edgewonk includes cloud access and AI-assisted analysis
Edgewonk documents browser access across devices, supported broker imports, mistake tags, checklists and a diary. It is not a desktop-only spreadsheet workflow. Its Edge Finder performs a weekly automated analysis of journal data and is described as AI augmented.
That scheduled review differs from an open-ended chat interface. Compare the actual reports and your ability to inspect the trades behind a finding; an AI label alone does not tell you whether a journal answers your question.
Pineify journal records are separate from TradingView execution
Pineify supports recording trades and closing events, journal notes and performance review. Its journal MCP tools can read records and perform authorized journal writes. Recording a close or a cash transaction in a journal does not place a broker order or transfer money.
Do not assume that creating a Pine Script strategy automatically syncs its simulated fills or your live broker trades into the journal. Strategy Tester results, live fills and manually recorded trades are different datasets and should remain identifiable during review.
Validate a migration before replacing your journal
Check the supported import route for the exact broker, platform and file format. Pineify’s report and diary export functions do not establish a general Edgewonk or broker CSV import capability. A claim that every field migrates in minutes would need a tested mapping and reconciliation.
Keep the original export and compare a small sample: entry and exit timestamps, time zone, quantity, direction, commissions, partial closes and net P&L. Check notes, tags, screenshots and open positions separately. Preserve records that the destination cannot represent rather than silently dropping them.
Use journal findings as hypotheses
A group of trades tagged as a mistake may have different market conditions, position sizes or holding periods. A difference in average return does not by itself prove that the tag caused the outcome. Inspect the underlying trades and track a proposed rule on later observations.
Compare current plan access, supported imports, renewal terms and export options. Edgewonk describes an annual subscription and a refund period; that is not the same as an unrestricted free trial. No equivalent-plan cost or profitability benchmark is claimed here.
