fxDreema alternative: visual EA logic or AI-assisted code?

fxDreema builds MetaTrader Expert Advisors and scripts by connecting logic blocks. Pineify’s Coding Agent drafts code from a written specification. Compare how each workflow expresses events, position management and errors, then validate the exported program in the target platform. An AI prompt is not evidence of faster development or production-ready behavior.

What fxDreema documents

Its builder connects configurable blocks into a logical tree and exports programs for MetaTrader 4 or 5. The documentation distinguishes condition outputs and error outputs. It supports workflows such as trailing stops and custom-indicator inputs. A visual diagram is a way to express program logic, not evidence of an obsolete or inferior implementation.

The actual free and paid boundary

The current purchase page lists a free limit of ten connections between blocks for export, alongside project and block limits. Paid access increases these limits for a selected period. Payments do not automatically repeat, and after expiry the profile returns to Free while projects and downloaded programs remain. Check the current page for limits and checkout currency; do not confuse a prepaid access period with a perpetual builder license.

Where Pineify differs

Pineify supports written instructions for MQL and Pine code-development workflows. Its syntax-check tool reports compiler or API errors and can also report an unavailable service. That supports an edit-and-check process, not a promise that every initial draft compiles or that the model was specially trained on a private MQL dataset. Pineify’s visual Pine editor is a separate workflow from fxDreema’s MetaTrader block builder.

Specify the event before generating code

Define whether a condition is evaluated on each tick or once per completed bar. State what happens when a position already exists, whether opposite positions are permitted, and which orders belong to the EA. Include symbol, timeframe, session timezone, volume step, stop distance and maximum exposure.

  • Specify an action for a rejected or partially filled order.
  • Separate broker points, price units and any pip convention.
  • Record how a restart recovers state and avoids duplicate entries.

An acceptance test for either approach

Export the program, compile in the correct MetaEditor version and inspect warnings. Run a small fixed dataset, compare expected entry and exit events, then inspect Strategy Tester logs. Use a demo account to test operational behavior after restart and disconnection. A compile result does not establish profitability or equivalence between MQL4, MQL5 and Pine.

Keep the workflow that makes changes reviewable

If your existing block projects are clear and export correctly, retaining them can be reasonable. If a written specification is easier for a new rule, evaluate the generated source and revision history. This page makes no thirty-second versus thirty-minute benchmark, personal one-day versus one-week claim, or guaranteed lifetime-cost comparison.
