Quartr Pro pricing: what is public and what needs a quote

Quartr’s public pricing page directs both Pro and API buyers to sales and does not publish a fixed dollar price. Its mobile app is advertised as free, and Quartr Core has been discontinued. This review checks current vendor documents; it does not present a negotiated quote, a paid-product test or a measured comparison against Pineify.

Current product and pricing boundaries

The linked pricing page is the source for the paid products’ public pricing status. A missing public price is not evidence of a particular minimum, discount or billing term.

The free app is more than an audio player

Quartr’s mobile product page advertises calls, transcripts, AI chat, filings and slides. The Pro page describes AI-assisted work across investor-relations material, slide-history comparison, scheduled or event-triggered research, and data extraction/export. These are vendor-described capabilities; this review has not independently measured their accuracy or speed.

  • Do not assume a feature is paid-only simply because an older review listed it that way. Verify the current mobile workflow directly.
  • For an AI answer, inspect the cited document and surrounding passage. A source link alone does not establish that a summary preserves its qualifiers.
  • For an exported number, compare the unit, fiscal period, segment definition and original table. A plausible spreadsheet can still contain a transcription or labeling error.

MCP access is not the same as an API license

Quartr’s MCP documentation requires an eligible Pro subscription and excludes student plans. It describes MCP for a subscriber’s own research and directs product integrations to its Public API. The authorization flow includes a read-only option; otherwise some tools can change saved research objects.

  • Before connecting a client, inspect the requested permissions and choose the access needed for the task.
  • Ask sales whether the intended workflow is personal research, internal team use or a product integration. Do not infer licensing rights from technical connectivity.
  • Confirm coverage and usage limits for the selected product rather than assuming every document is available through every interface.

A small evaluation that produces a useful buying decision

Choose five companies and two reporting periods before the demonstration. Include one company with renamed segments and one with a changed guidance definition. Use the same task set for any alternative so a favorable anecdote does not become a product ranking.

Calculate value from a quote, not a guessed list price

A simple planning equation is annual subscription plus implementation cost, divided by the value assigned to an hour of analyst time. For an invented $1,800 annual cost and $75 per hour, 24 hours of net annual time savings would offset that cost. This is arithmetic, not a Quartr price or a claim that the product saves 24 hours.

  • Measure net savings after reading sources and correcting errors. Faster draft generation can still leave substantial review work.
  • Include seat changes, training, permitted exports and any separate integration costs in the quote comparison.
  • Compare against the workflow you actually use, including issuer IR pages or existing subscriptions. Buying another interface does not automatically improve investment outcomes.

Where Pineify fits in the comparison

Pineify publishes this page and also sells financial research software. Its Finance Agent provides supported research tools; its Pine Script coding workflow is a separate capability. Neither this separation nor the presence of AI establishes that Pineify is cheaper, more accurate or a replacement for Quartr’s licensed document coverage.

  • If the task is finding and checking company statements, compare source availability and verification effort.
  • If the task is creating a TradingView script, evaluate the coding workflow separately from document research.
  • This review does not claim universal SEC-footnote extraction, identical datasets or a demonstrated performance advantage.
