Free Option Chain
Compare calls and puts by strike for one expiration. Inspect available quote fields, daily volume, open interest and delta, then export the displayed snapshot sample.
Selected expiration · Side-by-side contracts · CSV export · Provider coverage and delays apply
One request returns at most 250 contracts. The initial sample may include several dates; only the selected date is displayed. The date list is not a complete expiration calendar. Request a specific date to narrow the sample.
Day close and volume refer to the provider’s most recent daily bar; OI is prior-day open interest. IV raw preserves the provider value without rescaling. A dash means unavailable, while zero is displayed as zero. Quote times and delay labels can differ by contract; retrieval time is not market time. Adjusted or unknown-share contracts are shown separately. Verify deliverables and executable prices with your broker.
Read the contracts before comparing prices
An option chain groups contracts on an underlying stock or ETF by expiration, strike and call/put type. This table aligns standard 100-share contracts at a strike for the selected date. Adjusted contracts and contracts without a share count occupy separate rows; matching strikes alone do not prove identical deliverables.
What the columns actually measure
- Day close: the close field of the latest returned daily bar, not a promise of the latest trade or an executable price.
- Bid and ask: the returned quote sides. Check the contract’s quote timestamp and delay label. An unavailable ask is not a free option.
- Volume and OI: volume belongs to the returned daily bar; open interest reflects contracts outstanding at the prior trading day’s end. Neither identifies who bought or sold today.
- Delta: a model sensitivity to a small underlying-price change, with other inputs held constant. It is not a guaranteed probability of profit.
- IV raw: the unscaled volatility value supplied by the endpoint. The export retains that same value, rather than silently guessing a percentage conversion.
A quote comparison you can check
Suppose an ordinary 100-share call has a bid of 2.00 and an ask of 2.20. The quoted spread is 0.20 per share, or 20 for one contract before fees. Its midpoint is 2.10, but no trade at that midpoint is guaranteed. If the daily close is 1.85, it describes a different observation and should not replace the ask in a purchase-cost estimate. These are illustrative values, not a current quote.
Keep expiration and coverage fixed
Search a ticker, inspect the selected date, then use the date control to request another expiration. A dropdown date only means it appeared in a response. The page does not follow pagination, so a missing strike or put does not establish that it is unavailable in the market. Narrowing to a date can improve the sample, but a large chain can still exceed 250 contracts.
Refresh repeats the displayed ticker and expiration. CSV exports only visible contracts, including their symbols, expiration, share count, quote times and retrieval time. Retrieval time records when your browser received the response; it does not make older quotes current.
Use the snapshot as a research input
Check the full contract specification, deliverable, spread, quote age and available size with your broker before placing an order. Open interest alone does not establish liquidity, and a call-heavy chain does not establish bullish positioning. This page submits no orders and does not provide a historical options backtest.
