Read the trade ledger before interpreting the charts
Import one completed trade per row. The supplied P&L is authoritative: fees, partial fills, contract multipliers and currency conversion must already be included consistently in your file. Entry and exit prices are checked for valid numbers but are not used to replace the reported P&L.
What the numbers mean
Win rate divides profitable rows by all rows, including breakevens. Profit factor divides gross positive P&L by the absolute sum of negative P&L; it is unavailable when there are no losses. Average loss is shown as a positive magnitude.
Drawdown measures the decline from the running peak of cumulative realized P&L, starting at zero. Rows are sorted by closing date, preserving file order within each date. This is a dollar ledger drawdown, not a percentage account-equity drawdown; open positions, deposits and withdrawals are absent.
For a synthetic example, P&L values +100, −40 and 0 produce total P&L 60, a 33.3% win rate, profit factor 2.5, drawdown 40 and one breakeven. These calculations describe that sample only.
Limits of grouped results
Time-of-day groups use your optional labels; date-only records are Unknown. Weekdays use the supplied calendar date without timezone conversion. Strategy and emotion labels are self-reported. A profitable group may reflect a small sample or market exposure rather than a repeatable edge. This dashboard does not estimate Sharpe, annualized returns or future performance.
Files are processed locally. Import and sample buttons record usage events without trade rows. The deterministic synthetic sample illustrates controls; keep original records because the dashboard does not save results across reloads.
