Read a Fund Profile Before Comparing Funds
Enter one ETF or mutual fund ticker to request its available Financial Modeling Prep (FMP) profile. The result can include its issuer, identifiers, expense ratio, assets under management (AUM), net asset value (NAV), holdings count and sector weights. Availability varies by fund. An empty response does not prove that a ticker is invalid or that the fund has no holdings.
Search, Check the Units and Export
- Enter one symbol and select Search or press Enter. Check the returned fund name, ticker and identifiers.
- Read missing fields as unavailable, not zero. A reported false trading flag is different from a missing flag.
- Compare expense ratios in percentage points and NAV in its stated currency. AUM has no separate currency field here and is labeled provider units.
- Export the returned profile and sector rows to CSV. Refresh repeats the submitted ticker, regardless of unsent input edits.
Expense Ratios Are Annual Operating Costs
An expense ratio of 0.09% is roughly $9 a year on a constant $10,000 balance: $10,000 × 0.09 / 100. This is a simplified cost illustration, not a forecast or a separate annual bill. Actual expenses accrue within the fund and the dollar amount changes with asset values. Trading spreads, brokerage charges and applicable taxes are separate costs.
The provider supplies the expense ratio in percentage points. A value of 0.09 is displayed as 0.0900%, not 9%. Compare the correct share class and the issuer's gross or net fee disclosure, including any waiver period. This profile does not identify every fee arrangement or calculate returns.
NAV Is Different From an ETF Market Quote
Retail ETF shares trade at market prices that can differ from NAV. Open-end mutual fund orders generally receive the next calculated NAV, subject to applicable fees. This page reports the NAV field from a fund profile; it does not retrieve a contemporaneous bid, ask or market price and cannot calculate a current premium or discount.
AUM measures fund size, not liquidity or investment quality. Holdings count does not reveal concentration: a hypothetical fund with 100 holdings and 40% in one position differs from an equal-weight portfolio. Sector categories also do not show every underlying holding or country exposure. Returned sector values are not rescaled to total 100%.
Dates and Coverage Limit the Comparison
Responses can be cached for 24 hours. Provider Updated At is displayed as returned; it is not a separate valuation date for each field. Refresh can therefore return the same snapshot. Check dated issuer reports before combining values across funds. No account or payment form is required for this lookup, but provider availability limits results. The page does not recommend a fund or guarantee diversification or investment returns.
