Use decliners as a research queue
The list displays the provider’s largest-decliner snapshot. It can help identify names to investigate, but it does not measure all selling pressure, sector breadth or the probability of a rebound.
Check the move before acting on it
- Sort percentage change to compare relative moves; absolute price change answers a different question.
- Confirm the symbol, exchange, session and corporate actions. A split or stale quote can complicate comparisons.
- Read company disclosures and news for a possible explanation. A price table alone cannot identify the cause.
- Export the loaded rows to preserve your research snapshot. Refreshing can return the same cached data.

Frequently asked questions
How fresh is the list?
The browser requests a snapshot every 60 seconds while open. Pineify caches the FMP endpoint for up to 15 minutes. The retrieval badge shows browser receipt time, not the quote time; this is not a streaming feed or a market-hours-aware scheduler.
Does this cover every declining stock?
No completeness guarantee is made. The table shows the rows returned by the FMP biggest-losers endpoint, including the exchange when supplied. Missing data is not evidence that a stock did not decline.
What does percentage change mean?
It is the percentage change supplied by FMP. A minus 50 percent move halves the reference price. Verify the provider session, reference close, corporate actions and quote timing before comparing it with another source.
What does CSV export include?
The sorted rows currently loaded, including rows on other table pages. It is a snapshot, not a historical series. Missing values export blank. Price and absolute change use provider quote units; this page does not infer an absent currency.
Does a large decline imply a bargain?
No. Price changes alone do not establish intrinsic value, a rebound or the reason for the move. Check company disclosures, liquidity, corporate actions and relevant news before drawing a conclusion.
