Looking for a free options flow scanner?
Pineify offers a research dashboard with limited previews. Full Market Insights data requires Expert or above. Use this guide to understand the access boundary and what to check in an options flow record.
For public contract data, use the Options Activity Snapshot Analyzer. It compares daily volume and open interest in a limited chain snapshot; it does not stream individual trades or identify sweeps.
Four checks before interpreting a flow record
Timestamp and refresh state
Read the event time as well as the dashboard update time. A recently refreshed page may still contain older trades or delayed disclosures.
Contract context
Review strike, expiration, premium, volume, and open interest together. Large notional value alone does not establish a directional bet.
Execution and uncertainty
Keep research separate from execution. Verify the current quote and spread in your trading platform; an observed print is not an order you can fill.
Start with a ticker and a narrowly defined question. Inspect the contract details, then compare the options flow context with price, liquidity, and your own risk limits. This is research information, not investment advice or a promise of returns.

Options flow FAQ
Is there a public tool I can use without the paid flow feed?
Yes. The Options Activity Snapshot Analyzer lets you compare loaded contracts by daily volume, open interest and available quotes. It refreshes on request and covers up to 250 contracts per symbol. It does not provide a live transaction feed, sweep detection or trader intent. Market Insights is a separate product with Expert access for full data.
Is the Pineify options flow scanner free?
Full Market Insights data requires Expert or above. Lower plans may see a masked preview; a preview is not an unrestricted free feed. Plus and Advanced do not include full Market Insights access. Review the current pricing and account entitlement before purchasing.
Where do I use the scanner?
Open Market Insights in the Pineify web app and sign in. It is a separate research dashboard, not an options-flow overlay embedded in the TradingView chart or mobile app.
What can I filter?
The options flow view includes contract and activity filters such as ticker, premium, volume, open interest, and expiration criteria. Inspect the available controls and returned fields; a filter narrows research candidates rather than validating a trade.
Does the scanner show exchange activity instantly?
The dashboard refreshes periodically and shows update status. A refresh timestamp is not the exchange execution timestamp. Provider coverage, reporting delays, market hours, and request failures affect availability; no sub-second or execution-quality guarantee is made.
Does a large call trade mean the stock will rise?
No. A trade can be part of a hedge, spread, closing transaction, or broader portfolio adjustment. Premium and execution-side labels do not reveal the full position. Read the contract details and compare other evidence before forming a view.
Which related views are available?
Market Insights includes Options Flow, Opportunities, Market Tide, Dark Pool, and Congress views. They answer different questions and have different timestamps. An options contract screen is not a live executable quote, and a public disclosure is not a same-day trade alert.
