Questions about comparing after-hours stock trades
It can place the latest available extended-hours trade records for several stocks in one view, with each symbol, displayed local time, trade price, and reported size kept together. The records may have different dates or sessions.
Do not assume the results exclude premarket trading. FMP describes its aftermarket data as covering premarket and post-market information, and this lookup does not filter records by session. Confirm each transaction date and exchange timezone; the card shows local time of day without the date.
Use care. Records observed at different moments are not a synchronized market snapshot, and the stocks may have different prices, volatility, and liquidity. Confirm the timing and compare each trade with the relevant regular-session close or another appropriate reference.
Treat them as the latest available completed trades, not as guaranteed live or executable prices. Check the current bid, ask, timestamp, and available liquidity with your broker when execution matters.
The available record may not include a reported trade size. A missing value means the size is unavailable in that result, not that zero shares traded.
