AI Fundamental Analysis Tools: Research Workflows Compared

Choose a research tool around the work you need to verify: reading filings, comparing statements, screening stocks, or reviewing a valuation. AI can organize that work, but the underlying sources, reporting periods, and assumptions still determine whether the result is useful.

Pineify publishes this guide and offers one of the tools below. The comparison uses public product descriptions and Pineify's connected tool catalog; it is not a timed test, accuracy benchmark, or independent ranking. Check current plans before purchasing.

Run the same company check in each candidate

  1. Choose one company and three completed fiscal years. Request revenue, operating income, operating cash flow, capital expenditure, debt, and diluted shares with source dates and units.
  2. Reconcile one year against the issuer filing. Check whether the provider uses reported or adjusted figures and whether a fiscal year was restated.
  3. Ask for the formulas behind margins, free cash flow, and valuation multiples. An EV-based multiple and an equity-price multiple have different denominators and capital-structure assumptions.
  4. Compare peers with similar business models and reporting periods. Mark missing fields instead of filling them with invented estimates.
  5. For a DCF, change growth, discount rate, and terminal assumptions. Report a scenario range and the assumptions, rather than treating one model output as a guaranteed fair price.

Keep market activity separate from the company accounts. Analyst targets are opinions; delayed ownership disclosures and options prints do not establish an investor's current position or intent.

Use Pineify for a checkable research request

The Finance Agent can request supported income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, ratios, valuation data, and analyst estimates through connected tools. Coverage and history vary by instrument and provider. Ask it to list missing fields and distinguish retrieved figures from its interpretation.

Compare the last three reported annual periods for my selected company and two peers. Show currency, fiscal dates, revenue, operating margin, and free cash flow. Cite the sources and explain any differences in accounting definitions.
