Pineify vs Koyfin: Portfolio Analytics and Research Tools

Koyfin provides financial research, dashboards and portfolio analytics, including advisor reporting workflows. Pineify offers finance research, options tools, Market Insights and separate script development. Overlapping data categories do not establish that Pineify replaces Koyfin’s portfolio calculations, custodian connections or client reports.

Koyfin portfolio tools go beyond a holdings chart

Koyfin documents model portfolios with historical allocations, rebalancing settings, fees, benchmark comparisons and exposure analysis. Its advisor workflows include client portfolios and reporting. Those are concrete requirements to check before switching platforms.

A current holdings table is not a substitute for historical portfolio performance. Match the treatment of cash flows, distributions, currency, fees and allocation changes. Reconcile a known period before assuming two systems calculate the same return.

Koyfin does use AI in specific research workflows

Koyfin documents AI summaries for earnings transcripts and for model-portfolio attribution. Attribution separates relative performance into allocation, selection and interaction effects. An AI explanation of those results is different from a stock-ranking model or a trading-code assistant.

Pineify’s AI Stock Picker presents stock scores and research fields. A score should be interpreted using its methodology and horizon, not as a probability of profit or proof of superiority over portfolio analytics. No matched stock-selection accuracy test is supplied here.

Check options availability without assuming every field exists

Koyfin’s reviewed options-coverage page describes its options tools as coming and invites users to register for updates. That page does not establish a live options-chain entitlement. Confirm launch status and account access if options are central to your workflow.

Pineify has options-analysis tools, but field availability depends on the provider, contract and response. Missing Greeks must remain missing; an unavailable value is not zero. Verify timestamps, expirations, bid/ask data and the specific sensitivities needed rather than assuming a complete chain with every Greek for every symbol.

Research data is separate from TradingView code

Pineify Market Insights operates in the app, while Pine Script development produces code for TradingView. These are separate outputs. A financial statement, options field or dark-pool record retrieved in research is not automatically available as a Pine series or chart overlay.

Choose a workflow by the artifact you need: a cited company analysis, a portfolio report, a contract-level options view or an editable script. Compile and test generated code separately; a useful research answer does not validate trading execution.

Compare current entitlements and a reproducible task

Koyfin’s current plans distinguish individual research from advisor features. Use its current plan matrix for model portfolios, attribution, client reports and integrations. The old Basic/Pro price table and a fixed Pineify lifetime-cost comparison are not a reliable basis for a purchase.

Build a short acceptance list using your actual securities and reporting requirements. Check a filing-derived metric, one portfolio period and any required export. This comparison does not claim complete data parity, a measured time saving or a winner for every investor.

Questions before switching

Yes. Its official materials document AI transcript summaries and model-portfolio attribution summaries. These are specific functions, not a claim that every feature uses AI.

The reviewed options-coverage page says they are coming and offers an update signup. Confirm present launch status and your account’s entitlement before depending on them.

That has not been established. Rebalancing history, fees, benchmarks, custodial integrations and client reports require separate verification.

No. A score is a model output under a methodology and horizon. It is not a calibrated probability unless the provider establishes that interpretation, and it does not guarantee future returns.

Not as a general capability. The research tool and TradingView runtime have separate data access. Verify that the intended Pine series is supported.

Research and historical trade analysis do not establish future performance. Check source records and assumptions before relying on a result.
