Pineify vs fxDreema: MetaTrader Rules, Code and Testing
fxDreema builds MetaTrader programs through connected blocks. Pineify’s MQL4 and MQL5 coding agents draft source from written requirements. Both workflows need a precise rule and destination-platform testing. Choose the representation you can inspect and maintain, rather than assuming natural language always produces a faster or correct result.

| Task | fxDreema | Pineify |
|---|---|---|
| Construction | Connected configurable blocks. | Written requirements and editable generated source. |
| MetaTrader targets | MQL4 for MT4 and MQL5 for MT5. | Separate MQL4 and MQL5 coding-agent workflows. |
| TradingView | Reviewed documentation focuses on MetaTrader programs. | A separate Pine Script workflow serves TradingView. |
| Error review | Inspect block conditions, outputs and terminal behavior. | Inspect compiler diagnostics and review each proposed code change. |
| Access | Free small-project limits and paid time periods; no automatic rebilling is stated. | Use current plan and usage terms rather than an old price table. |
| Conversion | MQL4-to-MQL5 converter documents hedging and other limitations. | Treat translation as a separate implementation requiring equivalence checks. |

Use the right language for the terminal
MQL4 targets MetaTrader 4; MQL5 targets MetaTrader 5. fxDreema documents both languages for Expert Advisors and scripts. Calling both outputs MQL5 would obscure a real compatibility boundary.
Pineify has separate MQL4 and MQL5 coding workflows, plus Pine Script for TradingView. Its visual Pine editor is a separate product, not a visual MQL block editor. A strategy specification can be reused, but source and execution behavior must be adapted to each runtime.
Compare block flow with a written specification
fxDreema connects blocks into a logic tree, with configurable parameters and outputs that determine what runs next. Its documentation covers indicators, trade iteration, money management and trailing stops. Those connections make control flow visible, but they still need review.
In a coding-agent request, state the same decisions explicitly: whether a condition uses the current or closed bar, when orders may be sent, how existing positions are handled and how size is calculated. Inspect the resulting source and trade log. No matched-task timing study supports a claim that one interface always saves hours.
Check exports and billing terms precisely
fxDreema’s purchase page distinguishes Free and Full access by project, block and connection limits. Paid access is purchased for a selected period; the page explicitly says payments are not automatically rebilled. When paid access ends, projects remain and downloaded programs do not stop working.
That is different from both an auto-renewing subscription and a permanent entitlement to future builder use. Check current terms and the size of the project you need. Pineify’s current plan access and usage allowance should also be checked directly; this page does not invent equivalent tiers or a fixed lifetime saving.
Conversion and error repair require behavior checks
fxDreema also publishes an MQL4-to-MQL5 converter with documented limitations, including its hedging-mode target and possible problems on netting accounts. A converter is not a guarantee that order handling stays equivalent.
For either workflow, compile the final file in the appropriate MetaEditor, inspect warnings and test a fixed period with realistic costs. Check entries, exits, duplicate orders, rejected trades and position sizing on a demo account. AI-assisted fixes can revise source; a successful compile cannot prove the strategy logic or future returns.
