Compare Five AI Chart Analysis Workflows

Screenshot readers and market scanners solve different tasks. This comparison uses official product descriptions and Pineify's implemented workflow. It does not report hands-on benchmark results or rank prediction accuracy. Pineify publishes this comparison.

Criteria to Check Before Choosing

01
Output Verification
Compare quoted prices with the source chart and record missing fields and incorrect pattern claims
02
Multi-Timeframe Depth
Number of supported timeframes, chart types, and the quality of cross-timeframe analysis
03
Data Coverage
Support for stocks, crypto, forex, options, and the freshness of underlying market data
04
Real-time Capability
Whether analysis is live and streaming or requires manual screenshot uploads
05
Pricing Value
Features per dollar, including whether one-time payment options exist vs recurring subscriptions

Documented Product Workflows

The links below support product capabilities. Vendor descriptions do not establish accuracy or a trading advantage.

#1

Pineify Chart Analysis

Pineify

A saved interpretation of one uploaded screenshot

Pineify accepts one PNG, JPEG, or WebP image up to 3 MB and returns structured observations, suggested levels, risks, and uncertainty. Unreadable prices, symbols, or timeframes may be unavailable. The endpoint does not add options flow, dark-pool transactions, analyst forecasts, or a live price feed.

Pineify input and output overview

Documented Features
  • Written price structure and candidate patterns
  • Saved account history and user-recorded outcomes
  • Explicit uncertainty and nullable price fields
Limitations
  • Sign-in, eligible paid plan, and daily allowance required
  • No batch market scan, automatic trading, or Pine export in this workflow
  • No published validated accuracy or latency benchmark
Potential Fit

Reviewing a chart already open in another platform. Check the interpretation against the source image.

Pricing

Use current account billing and usage details; do not assume unlimited access.

#2

TrendSpider

Platform charting, automated patterns, and Sidekick

TrendSpider documents automated chart patterns and scanning. Its Sidekick documentation includes chart context, research, and market data such as unusual options and dark-pool data. This contradicts describing the platform as charts-only or as lacking flow context.

TrendSpider Sidekick documentation

Documented Features
  • Automated pattern overlays and scans
  • Multi-timeframe analysis tools
  • Sidekick can work with platform chart context
Limitations
  • Check specific plan, data access, and usage limits
  • The pattern-recognition documentation describes limitations for alerts and backtesting on those patterns; do not generalize other platform features to every pattern
Potential Fit

Evaluating integrated charting and scanning workflows. Confirm the exact pattern and interval you intend to use.

Pricing

Review current official pricing and data entitlements. No price ranking is established here.

#3

ChartSnipe

Screenshot analysis with configurable modes

The developer listing describes screenshot-based analysis without a broker connection or automatic trading. It lists several analysis modes, custom modes, a journal, and daily news-impact analysis. These descriptions establish offered workflows, not comparative accuracy.

ChartSnipe plans and feature descriptions

Documented Features
  • Screenshot analysis with entry, stop, and target suggestions
  • Custom analysis modes described by the vendor
  • A limited free credit entry point is listed
Limitations
  • Check credit consumption and reset terms
  • No independent cross-product accuracy comparison is provided here
Potential Fit

Evaluating a screenshot workflow and whether its modes match your own review process.

Pricing

The official pricing page lists free and paid credit plans; confirm current checkout terms.

#4

SnapPChart

Screenshot grading for momentum setups

SnapPChart describes long and short momentum-continuation grading from uploaded charts. It reads visible structure and indicators without a broker connection or live market-data feed. A supported setup may include a trade plan; this is not evidence that its grades predict profits.

SnapPChart workflow and access description

Documented Features
  • Explains evidence for and against a visible setup
  • Trading-profile choices for direction and style
  • Free introductory grade described on its site
Limitations
  • Underlying live data and execution are outside the screenshot workflow
  • Paid access is required for entry, stop, targets, and the trade plan
Potential Fit

Assessing a momentum setup under the documented grading approach. Compare the grade with the visible evidence.

Pricing

Official plans use different billing periods and analysis limits; verify the selected plan before purchase.

#5

Tickeron

Pattern-search and market-data products

Tickeron distinguishes its end-of-day Pattern Search Engine from Real Time Patterns. Its product page describes pattern detection, entry and exit levels, confidence, and historical performance review. Calling all of its scanning delayed is unsupported.

Tickeron product overview

Documented Features
  • Separate end-of-day and real-time pattern workflows
  • Historical pattern-performance information
  • Additional trading-agent products listed separately
Limitations
  • Check the coverage and access of the specific product
  • Historical results and vendor confidence figures do not prove future net returns
Potential Fit

Finding market candidates through a data-based pattern workflow, rather than assuming every tool accepts screenshots.

Pricing

Check the subscription and entitlement for the exact tool; no single platform-wide price is asserted.

Run a comparison you can inspect

  1. Fix the task before selecting products: interpret one screenshot, scan a watchlist, or study a pattern history. Do not score these as interchangeable capabilities.
  2. For screenshot tools, retain the identical original image and capture timestamp. Record each quoted price, claimed pattern, missing field, and explanation. Include ambiguous and unreadable cases.
  3. For scanners, use the same universe, interval, session, and observation time. Record feed timestamps and whether the current candle can change the result.
  4. Evaluate price-reading errors separately from trading results. For example, reading a visible level of 100 as 110 is a 10-unit transcription error; correctly reading 100 does not prove a breakout will succeed.
  5. If testing a trading rule, define entry, invalidation, execution costs, and holding period before inspecting later prices. Keep a separate holdout set and report failures as well as successes.

Review the Pineify screenshot workflow

Upload a readable image for a saved report of visible structure, levels, and uncertainty. Sign-in, an eligible paid plan, and remaining daily allowance are required.
