TradesViz Alternatives: Backtest Reports and Trading Journals

TradesViz supports trading journals, performance analysis, and TradingView import workflows, including backtester exports. Pineify offers a separate Backtest Deep Report and Trading Journal. Choose between them using the records you need to analyze and the workflow you can verify, rather than treating either platform as a single-purpose tool.

This is Pineify’s comparison, not an independent speed, accuracy, or return benchmark. Check current plans and the exact functions you need.

Identify which TradingView export you have

A Strategy Tester report contains simulated strategy trades. A Trading panel history export contains paper or connected-account executions. They are different datasets even when the filenames both mention TradingView.

TradesViz documents TradingView history import and backtester XLSX support. Follow its instructions for the specific export, including required columns and symbol naming. For Pineify Backtest Deep Report, use the supported trade-list CSV and check the parsed count, entry/exit pairing, net profit, and date range. An incomplete export can leave unmatched positions or incorrect totals.

Separate local calculations from AI analysis

Pineify calculates backtest metrics in the browser, but the current report application requires sign-in and checks plan access for gated actions. It is not an anonymous, universally free report service.

Requesting its AI analysis sends a summary of metrics, monthly returns, rolling statistics, and Monte Carlo results to the analysis API. The current request omits the large raw trade and equity arrays. This is different from a promise that no information ever leaves the device. Review the workflow and privacy terms before analyzing sensitive account information.

Read Monte Carlo results as a model

Pineify’s simulation samples historical trade net profits with replacement. A trade outcome can appear repeatedly or be omitted; this is not merely shuffling every original trade once. It creates alternative equity paths under that sampling assumption.

The simulation does not establish the real-world probability of a future loss. Historical samples may omit regimes, execution failures, and dependencies between consecutive trades. A percentile is conditional on the model and inputs. Use it to explore sensitivity, alongside costs, sample quality, and independent testing.

Use journal context when the question concerns actual execution

TradesViz documents execution imports, notes, tags, analytics, and replay workflows. Pineify also has a Trading Journal for recorded trades, notes, and closing events. Backtest Deep Report is a separate tool; its scope does not establish that Pineify lacks journaling.

Keep actual executions separate from simulated trades. Compare fees, timezone, trade grouping, partial closes, and the denominator behind each risk metric. More metrics do not resolve mismatched inputs. A claim that a stop or exit should change needs a new test rather than a personal success story inferred from one scatter plot.

Choose the required workflow before comparing cost

Use TradesViz when its documented import, journal, or replay workflow fits the task. Evaluate Pineify Backtest Deep Report when you have a supported strategy export and want its statistical views. Verify available functions with a small representative file.

Check current plans and access conditions directly. This comparison does not promise a thirty-second result, fixed savings, a particular Sharpe ratio, or that any competitor lacks a feature solely because it was absent from an older comparison.

Questions before switching

Its official TradingView integration page documents backtester XLSX support. Follow the instructions for your exact export; paper-trading history and strategy reports are different inputs.

The current application requires sign-in and applies plan checks to gated actions. Check current access before choosing it for an anonymous analysis workflow.

No. Browser calculations are distinct from optional AI analysis, which sends report summaries to an API. Do not treat local parsing as a whole-product privacy guarantee.

No. It describes outcomes under a historical resampling model. Changes in market conditions, execution, and trade dependence can make future outcomes different.

Yes. Its Trading Journal is a separate workflow for recorded trades and review. Verify the import and synchronization functions you require independently.
