How the assessment score works

The AAPL figures and four-quarter beat summary illustrate the output format, not a sourced track record. Capture retrieval time, fiscal period, currency, estimate basis and analyst count. Handle zero/negative consensus explicitly before computing a percentage spread. A price-target gap is not an expected return; four beats do not calibrate the next beat probability. The directory offers no scheduled monitoring or guaranteed coverage of every stock.

The API reference calls the earnings_history index an earnings-report date; yfinance builds that index from the provider quarter field.
