How to Use This Option History Tool

Understanding Key Option Metrics

Option Volume Total

The total number of option contracts traded on a given day. High volume indicates strong market interest and liquidity.

Put-Call Ratio

The ratio of put option volume to call option volume. A high ratio >1 suggests bearish sentiment, while a low ratio <1 indicates bullish sentiment.

Open Interest (OI)

The total number of outstanding option contracts. Rising OI suggests new positions are being opened, while declining OI indicates positions are being closed.

Implied Volatility (IV)
