The total I spent on LuxAlgo for those two weeks was about $30 (I canceled mid-cycle), but the full-year cost of $708/year kept nagging at me. Market Cipher B is free if you use a clone, or $99/month for the official version. Neither is cheap. LuxAlgo wins on breadth: 50+ scripts across three toolkits covering smart money concepts, oscillator analysis, and signals. The community is massive, support is fast, and the Quant AI agent adds real value for Pine Script beginners. But the $708/year subscription is hard to justify if you only use a handful of features. Market Cipher wins on crypto focus: the WaveTrend-based momentum engine is purpose-built for Bitcoin and altcoin cycles, and the lifetime license at $1,500 is steep upfront but cheaper than LuxAlgo over three years. The free clones are a wild card; they work reasonably well but repainting is a real concern. I am not sure either is a clear winner for someone trading stocks or forex. Market Cipher barely addresses those markets, and LuxAlgo's subscription feels excessive for occasional use. If you trade crypto full time and want dedicated momentum tools, Market Cipher makes sense. If you trade multiple asset classes and want a broad toolkit with community support, LuxAlgo is the safer pick.
