Check the claim's date and source​

Follow an offer to TradingView's official pricing or campaign page. Read its validity period and account restrictions. A title updated to a new year, a “verified” badge, or a testimonial about testing dozens of codes does not establish current eligibility.

The earlier title promised verified savings without a checkout record. The associated claims about personal code tests, a student discount, and predictable quarterly promotions have been withdrawn.

Calculate a real saving​

Compare the same plan, duration, currency, and tax treatment. Divide the difference between the reference price and the offered price by the reference price.

For a hypothetical reduction from $155 to $97, the saving is $58, or about 37.4%, not 60%. These are example amounts from the earlier article's arithmetic error, not current TradingView prices. A percentage headline based on a different billing period can give a misleading comparison.

For the current subscription amount and feature set, consult TradingView's pricing page. Include the renewal price and any exchange-data fees in the comparison.

Referral is not a universal percentage discount​

The official referral coupon explanation sets specific eligibility and redemption conditions. It does not establish a permanent 10–17% discount for everyone using a link. It also states that the coupon cannot be combined with other discounts and is not automatically applied to future renewals.

Use only the code or purchase flow actually issued to the eligible account. Do not assume an unrelated coupon will work with the same plan.

Redeem and troubleshoot​

Choose the intended plan and duration on TradingView. If the offer uses a code field, enter the issued code and inspect the updated total before payment. If the offer applies through a campaign flow, follow that flow instead of searching for a nonexistent field.

When redemption fails, check the expiration, account, plan, billing cycle, and whether another promotion is selected. Contact official support if the published conditions appear satisfied. Do not cancel an existing subscription or repeatedly repurchase in the hope of forcing eligibility.

Preserve the terms you accepted​

Save the order confirmation and note the next renewal date. Changing plans and requesting refunds have their own terms; finding a better code later is not a guaranteed refund-and-repurchase workflow.

A promotion should reduce the cost of a needed feature. There is no evidence here that a particular plan fits 80% of users, or that server-side alerts begin only at Plus. Select the plan from its actual feature table rather than from those unsupported claims.
